Willoughby

Willoughby City is located in Sydney's northern suburbs - about 9 kilometres from the Sydney GPO. Willoughby City is bounded by the Ku-ring-gai Council area in the north, Middle Harbour in the east, the North Sydney Council area and the Lane Cove Council area in the south, and the City of Ryde in the west.

This is a very large playground with many features which will entertain and inspire visitors of all ages. There are several areas linked by wide paths which are good for bikes, plus there is a large bike track at the Willoughby Road end.
Ferndale Park is a long and narrow remnant bushland reserve that is surrounded by residential properties, located within the Lane Cove River catchment, Chatswood.
The Flat Rock Gully in Willoughby covers 10 hectares of land but the walking trail covers four kilometres of rugged bush track. The walk itself might be short for some outdoor enthusiasts but there are sections with steep and wet terrains that could be challenging for others.
