Physio Inq Update on Coronavirus Measures for staff and clients
We are proud of Physio Inq's ability to respond in times of crisis. Physio Inq are taking COVID-19 seriously and have implemented steps to improve the safety and wellbeing of both staff and clients during this time. At this point, Physio Inq will be following on the advice from the Federal Minister for Health, The Hon Greg Hunt which has confirmed that “ALL allied health businesses can continue working and are encouraged to do so”. This will apply for all of our clinics and allied health services nationwide.
The Melbourne Metropolitan has entered Stage 4 restrictions from 6pm on the 2nd of August, 2020 to help stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community.
This is a disappointing yet necessary measure to ensure the safety of our community in Victoria.
Physio Inq Victoria mobile services will continue to provide its home services which include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology and Speech Pathology services across the Melbourne Metropolitan, as healthcare services like ours are considered an essential service.
Our staff are continuing to serve our clients and participants and are utilizing significant PPE as per government recommendations. All face to face sessions are able to continue due to this heightened Protective Equipment use, however if you for any reason need to convert to telehealth, give your therapist or our intake team a call to arrange.
Continuity of care is vital during these times to ensure that you don't go backwards in your journey with us, so we should all do whatever we can to continue working with one another in the safest possible way.
Thanks so much for continuing to work with our team and we wish you the safest time during this difficult period in all of our lives.
Stay safe and take care of one another.
