Mandurah

Mandurah, WA’s largest regional city and less than an hour from Perth, is set against a backdrop of magnificent beaches and an estuary twice the size of Sydney Harbour. Falcon Bay is a curving 500 m long beach tied to two sand-capped intertidal calcarenite points. Reefs off the point and further out lower waves to less than 1 m at the shore. This is a popular beach with a large car park, reserve and boat ramp at the southern. A low foredune, road then houses back the rest of the beach. It terminates at a sandy foreland on the northern side of which is 300 m long beach WA 783.

A short walk away is Martins Tank Lake that provides beautiful scenery and wildlife. It also supplies spectacular photography opportunities when the sun sets.

The Pirate Ship is a custom-built vessel offering a selection of cruises around Mandurah’s spectacular inland waterways. Each cruise offers interactive pirate themed entertainment, and the opportunity to marvel at the spectacular surroundings and wildlife, with the chance to spot Mandurah's playful bottlenose dolphins.
