Beverley Aged Care Physiotherapy at Home | Support at Home & HCP | Physio Inq Industry Leaders
Aged care physiotherapy is physiotherapy tailored specifically to the needs and goals of older Australians. It focuses on practical outcomes; improving balance, reducing falls risk, maintaining mobility and strength, and supporting older adults to continue doing the everyday activities that matter to them.
At Physio Inq, our aged care physiotherapists deliver professional, evidence-based therapy in the settings where older Australians live and spend their time; at home, in residential aged care facilities, or via Telehealth. Our approach removes the burden of travel and allows therapy to be directly applied to the real-life environment, which is particularly important for clients with mobility limitations or complex care needs.
Our physiotherapists work with older Australians accessing a range of funding pathways, including the Support at Home program (formerly Home Care Package) and private funding arrangements.
What our aged care physiotherapists can help with:
- Fall prevention programs and home safety assessment
- Strength and balance training for everyday mobility
- Rehabilitation following hospitalisation, surgery or illness
- Chronic condition management, including osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and heart conditions
- Pain management and functional movement programs
- Safe movement, transfers and positioning
- Exercise programs to support independence and quality of life
- Support for clients in residential aged care settings
- Coordination with Home Care Package providers and case managers
Every treatment plan is developed in close consultation with the client, their family or carer, and the broader care team to ensure therapy is practical, goal-directed and aligned with the person’s daily life.
How We Deliver Aged Care Physiotherapy
Physio Inq delivers aged care physiotherapy across three service channels, ensuring older Australians can access high-quality physiotherapy regardless of their location or circumstances.
In Your Home
Home-based aged care physiotherapy is the most common service arrangement for older Australians accessing Support at Home or Home Care Package funding. Our physiotherapists come directly to the client, removing the need for travel and allowing therapy to take place in the actual environment where daily life happens.
Home visits allow our physiotherapists to assess the real environment; including furniture, flooring, bathroom layout and outdoor areas; and provide recommendations that are immediately relevant to the client’s daily safety and independence.
In Residential Aged Care
Physio Inq provides physiotherapy services within residential aged care facilities, supporting residents to maintain function, manage pain and participate in daily activities. We work in close collaboration with facility staff, nursing teams and care managers to ensure therapy is integrated into the resident’s overall care plan.
Online (Telehealth)
Telehealth physiotherapy is available for older Australians who are comfortable with video consultations, or for follow-up sessions and exercise program reviews that do not require hands-on treatment. Telehealth is particularly useful for clients in regional or remote areas.

Older Australians Living at Home
For older Australians who are living at home and want to stay active, safe and independent, our physiotherapy services focus on fall prevention, strength and balance, and practical movement goals that support daily life.
Residential Aged Care Residents
Our physiotherapists support residents in aged care facilities with therapy that maintains function, manages pain and supports quality of life. We coordinate with facility staff and family members to ensure a consistent and well-communicated approach to care.
