Meadow Springs NDIS Speech Pathology Industry Leaders
NDIS speech pathology refers to speech pathology services delivered to eligible NDIS participants as part of their funded support plan. Physio Inq is a registered NDIS provider, supporting participants who are self-managed, plan-managed or agency-managed across Australia.
Speech pathology under the NDIS focuses on helping participants achieve their communication and swallowing goals as outlined in their plan. This includes improving speech intelligibility, building language and literacy skills, supporting social communication, prescribing and training augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, and managing swallowing difficulties that affect safe eating and drinking.
Our NDIS speech pathologists are Speech Pathology Australia-certified clinicians with experience supporting participants across a wide range of disability types, including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, motor neurone disease and complex communication needs.
Our NDIS speech pathology services include:
- Communication assessments for NDIS plan applications and reviews
- AAC assessment, prescription and training (including high-tech and low-tech systems)
- Speech sound and intelligibility programs
- Expressive and receptive language therapy
- Social communication and pragmatic language support
- Literacy and phonological awareness programs
- Stuttering intervention
- Swallowing assessment and dysphagia management
- Mealtime management planning and carer training
- NDIS goal-aligned communication programs across all disability types
All services are delivered in alignment with the participant’s NDIS plan goals, with clear documentation and timely reporting provided to support coordinators and plan managers.
How We Deliver NDIS Speech Pathology
Physio Inq delivers NDIS speech pathology across three service channels to ensure participants can access support in the most appropriate and effective environment.
In Your Home
Home-based NDIS speech pathology allows assessment and therapy to take place in the environment where communication and eating happen most naturally. For swallowing assessments and mealtime support, this is essential, observing a participant in their actual eating environment produces more accurate findings and more practical recommendations than a clinical assessment. Delivering speech pathology at home also removes significant access barriers for participants with mobility limitations, complex support needs or communication-related anxiety.
In Your Community
For participants with NDIS goals related to communication in school, work or community settings, Physio Inq can deliver speech pathology in those environments. This is particularly effective for social communication goals, school-based language programs and community participation support.
Online (Telehealth)
Telehealth NDIS speech pathology is available and can be funded under the same supports as in-person services. It is effective for language therapy, AAC training, parent and carer coaching, and progress reviews.

Who We Support
Physio Inq’s NDIS speech pathology services support participants across all ages, disability types and plan management arrangements.
NDIS Participants with Complex Communication Needs
We support participants with complex communication needs, including those who use or may benefit from AAC systems. Our speech pathologists conduct thorough assessments and work collaboratively with the participant, their family and support network to identify and implement the most appropriate communication approach.
Children and Young People with Disability
Our paediatric NDIS speech pathologists work with children living with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental language disorder and other conditions affecting communication. Sessions are delivered at home, school or in the community.
Adults with Acquired Communication or Swallowing Disorders
We support adults or older Australians living with aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia and other communication or swallowing disorders acquired through stroke, brain injury or progressive neurological conditions. Therapy is practical and focused on goals that improve everyday function and quality of life.
Support Coordinators and Plan Managers
We work closely with support coordinators and plan managers to streamline referrals, provide timely reports and ensure services are aligned with NDIS goals. Our team is experienced in NDIS documentation and communicates proactively throughout service delivery.
Families and Carers
Families and carers are central to communication support, particularly for participants with complex needs. Our speech pathologists provide thorough training, practical strategies and regular communication to ensure carers feel confident and effective between sessions.
