What Is Aged Care Physiotherapy?

Aged care physiotherapy is physiotherapy tailored to the needs and goals of older Australians. It focuses on practical outcomes: improving balance, reducing falls risk, maintaining mobility and strength, and supporting older adults to keep doing the everyday activities that matter to them.

Our AHPRA-registered physiotherapists deliver evidence-based therapy where older Australians live and spend their time, at home, in residential aged care facilities, or via Telehealth. This removes the burden of travel and allows therapy to be applied directly to the real-life environment, which matters most for clients with mobility limitations or complex care needs. We work with clients accessing a range of funding pathways, including the Support at Home program (formerly Home Care Package) and private funding arrangements.
