What is Exercise Physiology
Exercise physiology is an evidence-based allied health discipline focused on the prescription and delivery of exercise to prevent, manage and rehabilitate chronic health conditions, disability and injury. Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-trained clinicians, accredited through ESSA, who design and supervise individualised programs based on each person's health status, goals and physical capacity.
Mobile exercise physiology takes this support directly to the client. Rather than attending a gym or clinic, our exercise physiologists travel to the home, community or outdoor setting where exercise can be integrated naturally into daily life. This is particularly effective for people managing chronic conditions, fatigue, disability or complex health needs, where travelling to a facility is a significant barrier to consistent participation. We work collaboratively with GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and support coordinators to keep programs safe and aligned with each person's broader health goals.
