Woodside NDIS Occupational Therapy Industry Leaders
NDIS occupational therapy refers to occupational therapy services delivered to eligible NDIS participants as part of their funded support plan. Physio Inq is a registered NDIS provider, supporting participants who are self-managed, plan-managed or agency-managed across Australia.
Occupational therapy under the NDIS focuses on helping participants achieve the functional and participation goals outlined in their plan. This includes improving independence in daily activities, accessing assistive technology and equipment, modifying the home environment, and building the skills needed for greater community participation and quality of life.
Our NDIS occupational therapists are AHPRA-registered clinicians with experience supporting participants across a wide range of disability types, including neurological conditions, physical disability, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and complex health needs.
Our NDIS occupational therapy services include:
- Functional capacity assessments (FCA) for NDIS plan applications and reviews
- Activities of daily living (ADL) assessment and retraining
- Assistive technology assessment, prescription and training
- Home modification assessment and recommendations
- Cognitive rehabilitation and daily routine development
- Sensory processing assessment and support strategies
- Fine motor and upper limb function programs
- Community access and participation support
- Carer and support worker training
- Paediatric Occupational Therapy
- Aged Care Occupational Therapy
- Driving Assessments
- NDIS goal-aligned therapy programs across all disability types
All services are delivered in alignment with the participant’s NDIS plan goals, with clear documentation and reporting provided to support coordinators and plan managers.
How We Deliver NDIS Occupational Therapy
Physio Inq delivers NDIS occupational therapy across three service channels to ensure participants can access support wherever they are most comfortable and functional.
In Your Home
Home-based NDIS occupational therapy is the most common service arrangement, allowing assessment and therapy to take place in the participant’s actual living environment. This is essential for accurate home modification recommendations, assistive technology trials, and daily living assessments that reflect how the participant functions in their own space.
For participants with significant mobility challenges, fatigue or complex support needs, removing the need to travel to a clinic can make a meaningful difference to both engagement and outcomes.
In Your Community
For participants whose NDIS goals include community participation, school, work or social engagement, Physio Inq can deliver occupational therapy in those community environments. This ensures therapy is directly applied to the settings where goals need to be achieved.
Online (Telehealth)
Telehealth NDIS occupational therapy is available for consultations, carer coaching and follow-up sessions. It can be funded under the same NDIS supports as in-person services and is particularly useful for participants in regional or remote areas.

Children and Young People with Disability
Our paediatric NDIS occupational therapists work with children living with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, sensory processing differences, physical disability and other conditions. Sessions are delivered at home, school or in the community.
Adults Living with Disability
We support adults with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, physical disability and complex health needs. Therapy is focused on the participant’s functional goals and the environments where they live and participate.
Support Coordinators and Plan Managers
We work closely with support coordinators and plan managers to streamline referrals, provide timely reports and ensure services are well-coordinated. Our team is experienced in NDIS documentation requirements and communicates proactively throughout service delivery.
Families and Carers
Families and carers are central to many participants’ daily lives. Our occupational therapists provide practical training, clear guidance and regular communication to ensure carers feel confident and well-supported between sessions.

How NDIS Occupational Therapy Helps Participants
Occupational therapy under the NDIS focuses on building skills and confidence so you can take part in the activities that matter most to you. Our OTs work closely with participants, carers and support teams to deliver tailored programs that support independence and daily function.
Through NDIS-funded therapy, you can:
- Build everyday skills such as self-care, cooking, managing routines and social activities.
- Improve mobility and coordination to move safely and confidently in your environment.
- Support positive behaviour with strategies that encourage participation and emotional regulation.
- Access adaptive equipment or home modifications that make your space safer and more accessible.
- Increase independence at home, at work or in the community.
Every plan is person-centred, evidence-based and designed around your goals, not a generic checklist.
