PalmdaleMobile Exercise Physiology | Physio Inq Mobile Exercise Physiology

Palmdale Mobile Exercise Physiology Industry Leaders

Exercise physiology is an evidence-based allied health discipline focused on the prescription and delivery of exercise to prevent, manage and rehabilitate chronic health conditions, disability and injury. Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-trained clinicians who design and supervise individualised exercise programs based on each person’s health status, goals and physical capacity.

Mobile exercise physiology takes this support directly to the client. Rather than attending a gym or clinic, our exercise physiologists travel to the home, community or outdoor setting where the client is most comfortable and where exercise can be integrated naturally into daily life. This approach is particularly effective for people managing chronic conditions, fatigue, disability or complex health needs, where the demands of travelling to a facility can be a significant barrier to consistent exercise participation.

At Physio Inq, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists deliver clinical-grade assessment and exercise programming across a wide range of conditions and populations. We work collaboratively with GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, support coordinators and other members of the care team to ensure exercise programs are safe, well-coordinated and aligned with each person’s broader health goals.

What our mobile exercise physiologists can help with:

  • Chronic disease management, including cardiovascular conditions, diabetes and respiratory conditions
  • Disability and NDIS exercise programs for physical function and independence
  • Strength, balance and mobility programs for older Australians
  • Cancer rehabilitation and exercise during treatment or recovery
  • Mental health support through structured exercise programs
  • Post-surgical and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
  • Weight management and metabolic health programs
  • Neurological rehabilitation exercise programs
  • Fatigue management and energy conservation through graded exercise
  • Exercise prescription for complex and multi-system health conditions

All programs are individually designed, regularly reviewed and adjusted to reflect the client’s progress, capacity and changing health needs.

How We Deliver Exercise Physiology

Physio Inq delivers exercise physiology across three service channels, ensuring flexible, accessible support regardless of location or circumstances.

In Your Home

Home-based exercise physiology allows sessions to take place in the environment where the client lives and functions. Our exercise physiologists design programs using available home space and equipment or bring portable equipment as needed, ensuring exercise is practical, achievable and immediately relevant to daily life. Removing the need to travel to a clinic is particularly important for clients managing fatigue, mobility limitations, disability or complex health conditions, where the demands of attending a clinic can be a significant barrier to consistent exercise participation.

Not sure which delivery option suits your client or situation?

Contact our team on 1300 731 733 or use our Make a Referral Form and we'll help find the right approach for your health goals.

In Your Community

For clients who prefer to exercise in a community setting, our exercise physiologists can deliver sessions in local parks, gyms, community centres and supported accommodation environments. Community-based sessions support social participation goals and can be particularly motivating for long-term exercise adherence.

Online (Telehealth)

Telehealth exercise physiology is available for program delivery, coaching, progress reviews and education sessions. It is effective for many aspects of exercise prescription and is particularly useful for clients in regional or remote areas, or for regular check-ins between in-person sessions.

Who We Support

Physio Inq’s mobile exercise physiology services are available to people across a broad range of ages, conditions and support arrangements.

People Living with Chronic Conditions

We work with individuals managing cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, chronic respiratory conditions, cancer and other complex health conditions. Exercise is a powerful tool in managing these conditions, and our programs are designed to be safe, progressive and practically integrated into daily routines.

NDIS Participants

We are a registered NDIS provider and support participants across all plan management types. Our exercise physiologists deliver goal-based programs aligned to each participant’s NDIS plan, with full reporting and coordination support.

Older Australians

Our aged care exercise physiology services support older Australians to maintain strength, balance and independence, reduce falls risk and manage chronic conditions associated with ageing. We work with clients accessing the Support at Home program and Home Care Packages.

People with Mental Health Conditions

Exercise has well-established benefits for mental health, including depression, anxiety and stress. Our exercise physiologists work with individuals managing mental health conditions to develop structured, supportive programs that build physical and psychological wellbeing.

Post-Surgical and Injury Rehabilitation Clients

We provide exercise rehabilitation programs for people recovering from orthopaedic surgery, cardiac events or significant injury. Programs are developed in collaboration with the treating medical and allied health team.

Families and Carers

Our team provides clear guidance and communication for families and carers who are supporting a person through an exercise program, ensuring strategies can be reinforced between visits.

If you are supporting a family member and would like to discuss their needs before making a referral, we welcome that conversation. Contact our team on 1300 731 733 or use our online Make a Referral Form.
